8:18. Today Euromaidan activists will picket the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, who they think is responsible for the bкutal beating of opposition activists.

9:18. Initiative group 'Euromaidan SOS' confirmed the disappearance of one person after the events in Kyiv on November 30, when police used force against the pro-Europe demonstrators in Kyiv.

9:40. After the transfer from intensive care to a regular ward former interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko feels much worse, said his representative Larissa Sargan.

On Friday night, January 10, there was a brief skirmish between Euromaidan activists and 'Bekrut' employees, which resulted in Yuriy Lutsenko's head injuries.

10:04. Hundreds of supporters of the ruling Party of Regions are gathering for a pro-government rally in the centre of Kyiv.

10:20. Euromaidan activists are holding a rally under the Interior Ministry building, demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko.

11:00. According to LB.ua correspondent's report, there were fighters of the 'separate group of special purpose to fight terrorism' among security forces, protecting President Viktor Yanukovich's private residence 'Mezhigorie' from Euromaidan activists on January 12.

11:22. The opposition party 'UDAR' leader Vitali Klitschko handed over to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine speaker Volodymyr Rybak request to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko.

12:15. Anti-Euromaidan activists are storming barricades set by Euromaidan activists in the centre of Kyiv, near Kyiv City State Administration.

13:43. The U.S. sanctions against entry of Ukrainian officials into the territory of the States are an interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine, stated leader of the ruling Party of Regions Alexander Efremov.

13:43. There are no criminal proceedings related to separatism in the investigative department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.

On December 26 at a meeting of the Council of Regions President Viktor Yanukovich said that there were separatists in the western regions of Ukraine and that he instructed representatives of law enforcement agencies 'to convey warm greetings' to the leaders of these regions.

14:21. Head of the ruling Party of Regions in parliament Alexander Efremov assures that a law on decriminalization of Euromaidan activists works. According to him, part of the activists 'were released from the investigation' under the law 'On elimination of negative impacts and prevention of the prosecution and punishment in connection with the events that took place during the peaceful assemblies' signed by President Viktor Yanukovich on December 23.

Deputy Interior Minister Viktor Ratushniak meeting foreign diplomats said that former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko wan not beaten by 'Berkut' special forces fighters on January 10, but did not specify who exactly caused his head injuries in a brief skirmish between activists and 'Bekrut' employees. He also stressed that Yuriy Lutsenko was drunk.

15:25. Вespite appeals from the Ukrainian opposition and Euromaidan, the European Union is not considering any sanctions against Ukraine, said spokesman of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, Maya Kosyanchich.

15:52. Headquarters of the national resistance (Euromaidan - ed.) has information that on January 16 the Ukrainians authorities are planning a forceful dispersal of the Maidan camp on Kyiv's Independence Square allegedly under the pretext of resolving conflicts between citizens.

17:46. All-Ukrainian Union 'Maidan' asked the U.S. Senate to impose sanctions against a number of Ukrainian officials, in particular - Kharkovv mayor Gennady Kernes and Head of Kharkiv Regional Administration Mikhail Dobkin.

19:02. Irina Lutsenko, wife of the beaten opposition leader Yuriy Lutsenko said that he will stay in intensive care till the end of this week.

19:14. All-Ukrainian Union 'Maidan' promised to prepare a draft strategy for Ukraine until 2025.

20:35. Doctors discovered alcohol in blood of the 'Third Ukrainian republic' leader Yuriy Lutsenko on January 10, when he suffered a head injury near Kiev Sviatoshynsky court.

22:05. Russia is ready to discuss the issue of relations with Ukraine at the bilateral summit with the European Union, which will be held on January 28 in Brussels.

23:38. Traffic police has already taken away driving licenses of 100 participants of the rally to President Viktor Yanukovich's private residence 'Mezhigorie' on December 29.
